worth adding, if your server still blocks using php files as css, you will still need to select the css only version of barebones... nothing on our end we can do there...

core 5.6.4 and barebones 1.0.2 have been released... I would suggest doing a full uninstall (removing directories by hand if needed and remove sp tables from db)...
you should be good after that though as discussed, you may need to use the css version of barebones...

Found the solution
At this point I am very happy.
Access was blocked by rule located at /etc/nginx/common/wpcommon.conf
And the rule was
location /wp-content/uploads/ {
location ~ \.php$ {
#Prevent Direct Access Of PHP Files From Web Browsers
deny all;
}
}
