The Simple:Press 5.0 Beta is now available.

Read all about it and grab it here:  https://simple-press.com/simpl.....-download/

Two key requirements:

1)  you MUST be running WP 3.3

2)  you MUST upgrade from SP 4.4.5 (or 4.5.0 if already on WP 3.3)

Please report any issues in this forum.

With 5.0, you will now be able to use the wp updater within the admin to update to new versions!

I can't seem to find the switch for the breadcrumb menu. It's stuck in tree mode, was that deliberate?

Other than that, extremely impressed so far.

not a switch... its in the theme... argument to the breadcrumb display template tag...

in 5.0, very few switches/options... most display items, location, layout, display or not, controlled from the theme...

as the theme says in header, you really should create your own theme (ie copy) instead of editing ours or you may lose your changes...

we need a whole lot more documentation (as download page states, codex in work) on how the template tags work...  best resource today is look at code, but that will change...

Am I OK posting a possible bug here by the way?

Just changed spHead.php line 119 from spBreadCrumbs&tree=1 to spBreadCrumbs&tree=0 and it solved the breadcrumb issue lovely, but broke the text resizer.

No major bug I know, but thought I'd point it out.

My apologies...

Scratch that last post. I just activated the Captcha Plugin and that appears to have broke the text resizer. Disabled Captcha and it works again.

I'll see what I can find out, probably a conflict with one of my other plugins.
