So those of us using the V 5.0 alpha can't get to the beta using SVN? I'm now at version 7374.

Forget the above comment I've just seen that I am indeed at Beta. So any future updates of the beta should appear as an update in the WP dashboard?

yes - svn is still available as always. And nightlies.
But you DO need WP3.3

Yes I've been at WP3.3 beta for a week or so now, absolutely no issues for me other than the search one reported elsewhere.

Which is fixed in the beta build and in svn of course...
As well as that other item your user raised of losing a post when it couldn't save because of the captcha etc.

They had a last minute quite serious problem which required a beta 4 cycle. They are hoping to release very soon however. You can get the latest news from the WP development blog I believe - usually shown by default in your dashboard rss feed..

Okay, 5 is up and running. so far so good. Looks sweet 🙂 The font, options, etc all look aweome.
Now.. a reminder as to how i can create a page style for the forum so that it can be full sized width? I had done it before and it was fine, but upgrading to WP3.3 set me back.

Yes, but it doesn't come out as full-width, it simply eliminates the side-widget. I'm using the twenty-ten theme. Up until I updated to 3.3 it was fine. I had used the fix I found in the FaQ here - creating a template. I'm just not sure if this is something I should do again, or if it needs to be altered because of the new 3.3 and sp5
**edit** I used the fix from the http://wiki.simple-press.com/f.....ate/ page. Works great. I love spv5 it looks awesome. 😀

good job... I think its wrong how WP devs did twentyten and twentyeleven full width templates... just removed the sidebars and added blank space... I even opened a ticket early in their dev about it and was told it was by design! makes them useless for 99% of the users... luckily its a one line child theme to override and make them use the full width!
