Not sure on the "both" part...
Ah gotcha, didn't even see there was a user side option for timezone since I have the forum profile forwarding over to buddypress profile. Yes, it is when both are set to Denver I see the +7 time on posts occur. Did some more testing and now my head hurts lol.
Server: Denver + Forums: Denver = Post times show +7 hours - time passed since last post / Widget post times show as -14 hours + time passed since post
Server: Denver + Forums: Casablanca = Post times show +14 hours - time passed since last post / Widget post times show as -14 hours + time passed since post
Server: Casablanca + Forums: Denver = Post times show correct / Widget post times show show correct
Server: Casablanca + Forums: Casablanca = Post times show +7 hours / Widget post times show show correct

Sorry - let's just confirm... this is on NEW posts yes? made after the server time is changed?
If this is the case (WP set to Denver but posts being 7 hours off) then I would suggest you have some serious timezone conflict going on.
I don't think a test account would help. Probably more a matter of finding what plugin(s) maybe restting timezones

Nope, it's all posts get changed. So it seems to be a WP wide modification. I'll try to cycle off the plugins and see if I can find the culprit.

Is this the case with blog posts as well? They use the same WP timezone setting after all.
