I still do not understand, I can not set up the French translation.
I downloaded the file po and mo, I put these files (po an mo together, po only and mo only) traductions in the directories of translations "sp-resources", I edited the file wp-config with fr-FR
The translation does not always.
Any idea?

SPQC, thanks... po update at next wp update push...

chrischros34, assuming you mean the front end... you download the .mo file... put it in sp-resources/forum-language/simpe-press directory... then set the language in you wp-config.php...

what does not translate? keep in mind that plugins and themes are translated separately... the front end translation is only for strings in core itself... most display stuff will come from the theme...

The path should be /wp-content/sp-resources/forum-language/simple-press for the Front End and Admin.  If you are downloading the French (Canada) then you also need to rename both files to sp-fr_FR.mo and spa-fr_FR.mo

For the Theme, it's /wp-content/sp-resources/forum-language/sp-themes and again if using Canada, rename to spDefault-fr_FR.mo

Why/What do i have to change in the wp-config file? There already is   define('WPLANG', 'nl_NL');

have you named the sp files accordingly??  sp-nl_NL.mo and spa-nl_NL.mo?  that language is the one wp translation that does not follow the normal filename conventions of wp and translations...

so confused what you are asking now...
