what did you put in wp-config.php? and what is the file name you put in wp-content/sp-resources/forum-language/simple-press?
fr_FR and after downloading the French Canada file I renamed it sp-fr_FR.mo and it works, but only for the about box.
Like you said in a previous post, WP don't have a French Canadian translation so that's why I use fr_FR but I want S:P to keep French Canada, who knows one day maybe someone will start a fr_CA translation of WP and meanwhile, it's pretty easy to get the S:P fr_CA file and rename it.

We usually try to handle the single/plural like your moderator example properly... that one looks like it slipped through the cracks...
Just found out while translating that it's hard coded in the theme :
- There are %COUNT% moderators
- There are %COUNT% admins
Any chance this will be fixed before public release since it's always visible at the bottom of every page or we will have to wait for 5.01?
There is no moderator / Il n'y a pas de modérateur
There is 1 moderator / Il y a 1 modérateur
There are X moderators / Il y a X modérateurs
and if you are using any plugins, they have their own translations too...
I have added you as translator on themes and plugins...
As to the singular/plurals stuff, we opened a ticket a couple days on this behavior... we had handled it much better in 4.5 but lost some of the flexibility when we went to themes... so we are discussing the best way to handle... ideally will be fixed in 5.0 before release...

Awesome, thanks.
BTW I may have an easy fix for Mods and Admins count: simply drop 'There are' and 'There is' and use:
Moderator(s): %COUNT%
Administrator(s): %COUNT%

Hello, I have translated the Default theme and several plug-ins for SPV5 in Russian, how can I download my own translations? Is it necessary to someone to approve them?
A validator need to approve each translation, chance are that if you are the only one yet who worked on it that you'll be offered to be a validator. What's nice is every change you made is automatically accepted (goes green instead of yellow).
Then to download, at the bottom you have to select the MO extension and click Export.
SPQC, thought about doing the same in our provided themes... but we likely still need a more global solution...
LucasOrso, yes, any translations need approving by a validator or admin before availability... or no telling what might get put in the translation... would like to volunteer to be a Russian language validator?

Question! There is something strange that hapenned and I can't explain it. I translate a few bits here and there many times a day and remember "There are x members" and such in the Member stats at the bottom?
Well, I had those translated and working fine then suddenly a few hours ago they reverted back to english with "There are...". I tried to filter theme strings and I cannot find it, I even download the PO file to search with POedit and they are gone! Looks like you modified those if I look at the stats just below here, and it looks like it have impacted our translations.
I see no S:P updates available, neither for the theme so I'm lost about those 4-5 lines.
