[22 -May-2013 15:26:34] PHP Warning: include_once(/problem-with-post-edit-buttonome/******/public_html/wp-content/sp-resources/forum-plugins/plupload/sp-plupload-plugin.php) [<a href='function.include-once'>function.include-once</a>]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory"
So, I contacted my managed server folks and said essentially the same and they responded, "The missing file should be located in [ /problem-with-post-edit-buttonome/******/public_html/wp-content/sp-resources/forum-plugins/plupload/library/sp-plupload-components.php ]. The entire plupload folder is not present in your plugins directory, which is causing this error to be hit every time it is requested. You will need to contact the developer of this plugin for further assistance, as this file does not actually exist on the server."
SO, I am apparently missing a folder in my plugins directory. I have not fiddled or messed with the files or folders since install. I obviously need to figure out what is going on though. Per the recommendation of my managed server folks, I am now requesting help from you to get the missing folder/file issue fixed/resolved. Please advise, and THANK YOU!
so not sure how you are missing the directory, but seems you are... when you uploaded the file uploader originally (its not include with simple press by default), something must have glitched... easiest thing to do is remove the current plupload directory and upload a new one that you download from our plugins page... removing the directory and uploading a new one wont hurt anything since its just files and any data is in the database..

Oops, looks like I didn't quite read your suggestion correctly in my response above. Not a clean uninstall and reinstall, but instead "remove the current plupload directory and upload a new one that you download from our plugins page".
So, I'm not completely clear on where I snag the new plupload directory. Do you have a link perchance? Or, are you saying download SP to my desktop or something, then ftp that particular file as a replacement to the existing (errr, nonexistent) plupload directory file/folder?
DO NOT UNINSTALL... just remove the plupload directory from wp-content/sp-resources/forum-plugins....
as I said our download page... its fairly prominent in the nav menu.... https://simple-press.com/download/ on that page will be a link to the plugins download page... there you can get the image and file uploader plugin....
once you have removed the current plupload directory, you can either extract the new on from the download to your desktop and then ftp it to the server..., or you can use the plugin uploader on forum - plugins - plugin uploader to upload the zip file you downloaded...
