Smileys are gone? Are there any default Smiley Packages

it appears that all my smiley packages are not showing up, but the names are. I still have custom smileys that I uploaded to my ftp server when I used version 4.5.1.  That said, does version 5.1 not have a default set of smileys for users to use? If so, how do I get them to show up.

First thing is go to the forum admin > Integration > Storage Locations.
One of the folders in there is for the smileys. Note the folder location. Also check to see if it is readable and writable using the icons beside the row.
If it is not then you will need to check the permissions on the folder. if it is check inside the folder as the smileys should be in there.

Thanks.. All these folders were pointing to the old simple-forum location which I had moved out of the WP-Content folder directory. So in order to get it to work, I had to move them back. I was under the assumption that the entire content of 4.5 had to be removed from the WP folders.

I'm not quite sure why v5.1 dashboard doesn't permit me from changing the location path.  One of the options are custom folders which is in the simple-forum plugin. However, I don't want to move that back into my WP-Content Plugins folder so it doesn't conflict simple-forum with simple-press.  If that dashboard permited me to simply change the folder location path, it would be much easier.

There should be no trace of a 'simple-forum' path any longer.
Are you saying that when you try and update the storage locations admin panel it wont save?

When I moved the folders back into the WP-Content folder, the X turned to a Check mark and it worked.  So the update worked by making sure the folders were actually in the location path specified in the dashboard. What I was asking was why version 5.1 was even still pointing to the old folders to begin with.  I assumed that it would have created new folders and simply pointed to them. However, as stated above, it was still linking to the old folder paths, which obviously wasn't there because I had removed it from the WP-Content folder before I installed 5.1.

`The update doesn't mess with any of the storage folders where users may have placed custom items. Just continues to use the old ones.

I wanted to follow-up on one of my initial questions in this thread. Is there a default smiley and badge package that comes with this theme? The current badges and smileys I have were manually uploaded when I was running version 4.5. However, I'm willing to go to the traditional smiley and badge packages similar to what this forum has.  Please let me know if you guys have a downloadable zip of smileys and badges that I can simply upload via FTP and activate.

Here is a zip file of the smileys.

I am not sure what you want in regards to badges. There is no set default badges. Do you mean avatars?

Thank you, but I was referring to the ranking badges. The files would be under "file-badges" in the content folder. I uploaded my own and they seem to be way too large for my narrow forum. Therefore, the icon is cut off. So i think I need to use the standard badges similar to what is used on this forum.
