Looks to me like the smileys data was not built probably due to the failed data move.
I have that on my task list to complete. Meanwhile you should have them back now.

No. I have talked to Steve about this and neither of us know but it is something on your site as I have said before. When the post is made, WP is not outputting the themes header. This is not something I have seen before and this code has been running on thousands of sites for about 6 years.
Clearly it is not another plugin. Have you tried it with the default Wp theme? That woiuld tell us if the theme itself is the issue...
