Hello,
Is there any way to have a section on my front page which shows the "recent posts" from the Simple Press forum? If SP doesn't ahve this feature, does anyone know of a third party plugin that can do this? Anyone have any ideas? I'm looking to add a small SP section in my sidebar on the front page.

The Template tags plugin will allow you to do that. Here is the info on it. http://codex.simple-press.com/.....gs-plugin/
You can download it from the plugins pages here.
If you look at the left lower footer here you will see it in action. You can do the same in a sidebar or wherever.
