Support Forum
Ok so here are some info from my testing.
The upgrade process went really smooth, what i might think could be a problem for inexperienced user is that you have to put 2 folders outsides the plugin folder into sp-resources. If it was possible to integrate everything into 1 installation of everything i think the install process will have 5 of 5 stars.
The speed of the forum is now about 30% faster on my "bad" hosting that's really good. If it was possible to integrate the forum with some of the biggest cache plugins on wordpress this would be "the bomb". Lets say hyper cache on all forum threads and post, and if someone post a new post that singe thread would be reached. However this might not work on big forums that get alot of post, but you get the point 🙂
To some specific issues i have right now. The page i use to put the forum on isnt high enough. I get a scrollbar on the right side of my forum, i dont know why but mayby its my theme i use, but i don't know how to fix the height tbh :/.
The second thing is that today the day after i upgraded i can't fin the option on the admin page for Themes, Plugins on spf they are gone?
Or i am blind but i have looked on every single option in the admin panel of SPF and can't find it hahaha it was there yesterday. Can someone point me to where it should be?

This may sound daft but which folders are you referring to please? There are some we are unable to move during an upgrade due to breaking urls in existing posts - image/media/file uploads for example. Are these the ones you mean? A new install will place all of the storage folders under the new spresources folder.

I can assure you that investigating caching is never far from the top of my list. The last time I reviewed the available options I didn't come up with anything useful but it will soon be time to go through them again. It is a goal we aim for.

Sounds most likely that it is your theme placing some kind of restriction. If this is a public facing site I can take a look if you like. Or if you have another site using the same theme it might be possible to get to see what is going on.

Have you checked forum admin > Admins > Manage admins to see if the capabilities are set for you to access these panels? We do have a ticket open on this for discussion. It is not a bug as such, more a matter of security philosophy we need to resolve. If that is not the issue then shout.

Yes i was referring to the update of and old installation. If it's not necessary in a normal update or install this isn't a "problem".
Yeah it might be a theme thing, i use the wide template on the site, but im not sure how to change the height of it all.
Here is the adress to the forum im testing this on right now http://utv.bfstuff.se/forumet Its slow yeas i know. But i have just change host so this site are going to a new webhotell in a mather of hours, the dns is changed. So i hope it up long enough for you to take a look on the site.
You are correct with the capabilities i must have logged in as the user admin the first time, because i see that i have all capabilities on that user, however on my other admin user the 2 options for the theme and plugin was not enable.
Might this have something to do with who was updating/installing the plugin?

Sorry I have only got back - needed to go into town.
The iForum theme is still a bit of work in progress and does, currently I believe, have a height restriction imposed. I am trying to find the time to get back to it to finish it off!
Well the other themes work great anyway 🙂
Now to a possible bug. Before i upgraded i hade some forums with subforums. I wanted to change that and use the "Group style" more.
I sometimes have trouble changing a subforum into a normal forum, i get (if i remember the words correctly) "No data changed" even if i changed from subforum into a normal forum.
What worked was if i changed the Forum Slug: or Forum Name: then i could successfully change it to a normal forum.
Another bug. If i choose to delete a forum that have subforums, the text say that the subforums will be promoted into normal forums in the structure.
I had a forum that was emtpy that was acting like a group. So it had no posts but had 2 subforums. I deleted the forum that didnt have any posts but the subforums went messud up.
They are gone from the"manage forums" in the admin panel but i still see 1 of the subforums the other one turned into 12345 as pages and the title disappeared. check this pic
OK I am unable to replicate the first issue - switching a subform to a main forum. Seems fine here after a few tests. I could do with some detail perhaps on the exact steps you took.
As to the second - removing a parent forum to leave existing subforms as main forums then I am seeing something wrong here. I'll take a look at the code.
