Simple press registration button links to goldensharks.com/register.
As u click register it kicks you to wp admin register.

Is this what is set in the SP theme? If you are referring to the login/registration admin panel then those urls - as they state - are redirects for AFTER the registration process. The target for registration is set in the SP theme and the WP admin registration form IS the default - as per the way WordPress behaves.

Your plugin was (and often is) just broken for unknown reason - being the only way for anyone to register through original wordpress registration. As it's sometimes fixing itself - now its redirecting you as was set in sp settings to /register slug.

the simple press registration button, by default links to the url provided by the wp built in function wp_registration_url()... if it is linked to something else, its not from/by simple press... you can override that url in the template function arguments... or any other wp theme or plugin can hook into that standard wp function and change it if they want... by default, the wp function would return http://domain.com/login.php?ac.....n=register... so sounds like something else is changing the url...
