My partner and I have been troubleshooting our slooooooow load times for awhile now on our membership site, http://artempowers.me
He took a look at Pingdom, and it looks like there are two files that are consistently taking about 4 - 6 seconds to load. Both of them are Simple Press files.
Any advice/suggestions for how best to deal with this problem? Our members are complaining, and we're losing interaction because people don't want to wait around for the forums to load.

gonna need more info than that as this is atypical... generally, simple press is quite fast and scales... we have users with a magnitude of order more users and posts with hundreds to maybe even a thousand users (must be nice!) online at once with no performance issues... of course, good hosting is always required for optimal performance for any site...
would have been nice if you had relayed what these two files were... some good profiling should help out too...
when I load your forum, its takes to 2-3 seconds on the front page so bit slow even if forum not involved... cannot look at the forum page since its protected... slow down there was somewhat related to google analytics and a stat counter...
