Support Forum
This was happening before, Han was ok for a while, and now again:
logged as admin, I go to forum, and trying to open any topic. It logs me putt, redirecting WP login page. After login it repeats theirs thing.
all users on a forum complains about such issue.
In error log I see tons of this error:
file: /simple-press/sp-startup/forum/sp-forum-framework.php line: 263 function: implode Warning | implode(): Invalid arguments passed |
first, being logged in is part of WP... we have not facility for logging in or logging out users...
that is a warning and not a critical error... it seems to indicate you have not auto update processes that need to occur... we should probably make a check on that in the code, but it certainly wont log you out...
if you want to stop the warning, go to forum - options - global settings and disable the auto update... I will get a empty guard check in place in the next version...
couple things to check regarding wp logging you out... on wp - settings - general, are you using the same url for WordPress url and Site url? by that, I mean are they consistent in use of www? you might be causing cookie domain issues if not...
second, any caching plugins?

Thank you for reply.
On wp setting both pointed to: http://www.photigy.com
Yes, I use WP super cache and W3C (last for CDN only)
I did clean cache while fighting with this log out thing, but it did not help.
BTW, now it is fine, SP works normal.
I think this might relate to cashing plugins I have... any info on how to properly configure WP super cache to work with SP? Would appreciate any info!
Ok, I've excluded forum URL from WP Super cache and it seems to start working OK.
Now, the question: is there a good WP caching plugin which works seamlessly with SP form? Forum gets much more trafic load, and it will be tough for a server to run it w/o caching at all.
Any suggestions on this?
The problem with all caching plugins is that they assume static data - like blog posts. A forum is not static and is different to each user who visits. We cache quite a bit ourselves where possible and that is an area we are always looking to improve and work on.
