A few more tweaks and I'll have the forum ready, and hopefully I won't have to pester you so often.
I need to create space between the icons at the left of the post titles (theme is Stacked) and the text itself. The icons and text are touching.
I'd be happy with either eliminating those icons altogether or adding a margin-right css setting. Where can I find this in php or css?
ALSO: I'm a bit confused by some Permissions settings. For instance: "Can view a forum," "Can view a list of forums only," and "Can view a list of forums and list of topics only" seem to offer mutually exclusive choices. If I select them all, am I limiting or expanding the capabilities? I guess it's the word "only" that's puzzling me.

as to the space, not sure what you are referring to... is this on group view? forum view? or topic view? if you look at the template files for each of those views in your sp theme template files directory (dont forget to make your own theme before editing), you will see a loop for the main content... within each loop will be some column definitions with some widths... you can remove columns such as the icons (on group and forum view) or add new ones... each column will also have a width declaration... you can adjust those as needed to fit within the space you have allocated for the forum...
Yes, for the various forum view stuff, you would only pick one of can view forum, can view forum lists only or can view forum and topic lists only... the latter are what we call sneak peek... They let users get a glimpse of the forum but not actually see any content... so forum lists lets you see group view... forum and topic lists lets you see group view and forum view... if you try to go further, you get a message about private data and can be directed to a sign up page... try it here but logged out...

So, if I want to allow unrestricted viewing of posts and titles, I should select "can view forum" and leave the two choices below unselected. Do I have that right?
I currently have EVERYTHING selected for moderator access. I'm guessing that's going to cause a problem. For complete moderator permissions, is there anything else I should unselect?
