Hopefully a simple question, but how would I stop guests or any user not logged in from viewing media, such as photos and embedded videos in our forums?

I'm trying to push guests to create an account to see our media and I can't figure this one out....

afraid we dont have anything like that... there is a permission for viewing links, but not media or images...

you might be able to add a custom filter and based on user remove those tags...

or we have the sneak peek feature but that really hides the entire post content... lets them see the forums and topics but not the posts...

might be something we could consider in the future, but frankly, first time anyone has asked for anything like that...

Hi and thanks for you're reply. Before we converted to Simple Press we were using a Yabb forum and we had this option. It's not the end of the world if we can't get back to that, hopefully Simple Press will include something like this down the road.
