Stopping forum registration notifications

How do I do this? I'm getting about 400 emails a day right now, and I have to cut it off!

I looked through general and email options to no avail.

Those are not forum registrations... those are wp user registration notifications... sent by wp...

and wp does not give you an inherent way to do so... so you need a plugin...

or others that extend the registration system... like Theme My Login...
