Is there a way to stop mp3 attachments from playing regularly. I would rather like to have member click on these if they choose to play them. Right now, as soon as you open the page they start playing. Thanks, Steve

I don't think so. I upload it in a post and a player shows up in the post that plays it. I disable JWplayer and MediaElements plugins on my site but the player is still there so I think it is something else.

Its still wp handling the oembed... what exactly are you doing? a link (oembed) or uploading with our plugin?

I upload an mp3 to the forum so that members can listen to it and download it themselves. Right now, if they click on the forum page the embedded mp3 automatically starts playing. I would rather have them push the play button if they want to hear it. I'm not sure where or how to change that..........

are you using tinymce plugin too? do you have a link to example? we explicitly set the autoplay parameter to false, so not sure what might be happening...
after the NFL games today, I can try some tests too and see if something has gotten knocked...

so yeah, can see his happening too... for some reason, tinymce is stripping the autoplay from the embed element and only applying it to the object element... at this point, not sure what can be done...
