I'm admin, and it looks like simple:press think I "own" all the posts..?
Everytime I log in, I get the following messages listed on top:
All of them says: "A user has edited your post" (link to post) (Remove notification)
Now, I do not own these posts, and I haven't started them - and I haven't even posted in some of them.. I'm not watching all of them, and I'm not subscribed to them.
Any idea why it keeps saying "A user has edited your post" everytime something gets posted?
It has nothing to do with subscriptions or watches... Its telling you a post was edited... if you want to disable those messages, you can on forum - admins - global admin options...

interesting... cannot duplicate that... and no other reports... are you hooking into the post creation process at all for some custom code?

I'm also getting this. Because my forum is very active it takes up the ENTIRE page and requires tonnes of scrolling. Clearing the unread posts or moderation waiting list does not clear this monstrously ugly list.
Mine is in English and says "A user has edited the post", which I don't care to get notification for.
I tried disabling the options in "forum – admins – global admin options…" and it doesn't change anything.

The global admin options will stop them appearing for your users (notified if someone edits one of their posts for example). To turn off notifications for you as admin then you want the Your Admin Options panel.
Will deactivating this feature also deactive if you use the "Notify user" option in the post-tools
It says "Notify User"
No... the others explicitly say which notices are not longer generated...
