Many of my users are not seeing the complete toolbar and not able to quote either.

Please take a quick moment to review the topic on my site in referrence to these problems. Skip over the first post since it is long and I've already corrected a few issues. Check out the users screenshots.

One of my users offered this suggestion to me in a PM.

IE is blocking tinyMCE editor if the user switch to BBCODE editor it will allow quote and some other font options.

To switch login to profile on FM site select options select posting options select the BBCode editor and it won't be the same toolbar but you will have your some options back.

In general, IE does not block tinycme editor or toolbar - unfortunately, in testing I have to use it all the time with IE...

given this and the earlier captcha problems, its sure sounding like some js conflicts...

you didnt say which version of IE, but if its earlier than IE 10, looking at your source code, you are probably running into the js or cs file include limit of 32 thats present in IE 9 and earlier...  its the whole reason the combined js and css caches were introduced - so the 32 file limit include of IE didnt get in the way...  but you are not using the combined css and js caches... you might try it.. you would see a performance benefit too with less http requests..

How do I do that? I haven't seen that option on the wp-admin.

The user that sent that PM to me didn't specify which IE, but I'll try to find out.

Thanks

Thanks :-)

In your opinion, should I choose both of those options or just the Javascript?

personally, I would use both (we do here) for maximum benefit.  Each css or js file loaded is an http request which takes time...  better to load one larger file than many small ones...  this only affects forum js and css files...
