Hi guys,

I have a issue with the sub forum icons. They do not change when there is a new thread/post. As image nr2 shows, i have red icons that should be visable when a new post is added.

It´s working as intended in the forums, but not in the sub forums.

I know the group view was working since that capability was only added a view versions ago...  will have to see if something got knocked....

for the forum view page, what happens if you go into the subforum and view the list of topics, ie Guider..  do they show up properly then?

I will have to run some tests... one quick test looked good, but need to get more in detail...

Hi Steve,

Just want to add that i did run a few tests with a 100% fresh installation of SP at my test site, and it´s working as intended. So the problem seem to be related to the forum at my Gaming Community: http://friskyttarna.eu

Could you take a look if i email login credentials to you?

even more odd...  just this one site?  no caching plugins?

sure if you want to pm me some credentials, I can take a look though not sure what I can tell...  I have opened a ticket for investigation, but with Andy on vacation for a couple of weeks, in depth investigations are a slower than normal...

Yes it only happens at my main site.

But there is a big difference between my test and main site. The later is 3-4 years old and once started out with SP 4.x and are upgraded many times during those years. The test forum is a fresh installation with the latest SP version.

Both sites are however using identical WP version and framework.

No, i am not using any chache plugins. I am actually not using that many plugins since i am trying to keep it at a minimum.

You got a pm.

the version you started with is not likely to impact it...  but one never knows... ;)

thanks. busy day and Andy on vacation so might take a day or two to investigate...

No problem, take the time you need.

It would mean a lot if you can get the forum icons to work as intended.

I had hoped today, but I am not feeling well... running a slight fever... bad timing of course... hopefully back in the saddle tomorrow or this weekend for in depth research like this...
