Thanks Steve.
I am trusting in you and Andy.
If it´s not changeable, i really have to figure out how to minimize my use of subforums. Some of my forums have up to 11 subforums.
Which really do not look nice if all show up in group view.
It is going to take me a while to catch up on this thread and clearly I need to discuss it with Steve...
But... your first picture (top left) showing a new post is NOT the same post as is shown on the second picture (top right) which surely makes this particular set of images suspect. In other words those displays may well be correct.

You have sharp eyes Andy.
It´s easily explained. I created a new post and took the first image, then i realized that i posted in the wrong forum. I posted a new post in the correct subforum and took image nr2 and nr3 and forgot to retake image nr1.
However it´s very easy for you to check out and even try for your self. Steve have the login credentials to my test site from which the images are taken: http://sethwire.com
the big issue is going to be the conflicting data... with allNested set to false, you are saying that you dont want subforum data to bubble up to the parent level... but now you do want the unread status to bubble up... so you will get mixed data... the unread status and the latest post and other stat info would not agree with each other...
but, anyways, we are discussing what, if anything should be or could be done... answer might be nothing... but give us few days...

Hi Steve,
I reduced the amount of subforum on my main site and removed the allnested from spgroupview.php because of what you told me before, that you might not be able to do what i wished (pls read posts 29 - 32 in this thread).
It was not to complicate things, rather the contrary.
Sorry, but i am not quite sure i understand your explanation about mixed data. Both of my forums (test and main) are back to "SP standard" again without any php modifications. Are you telling me that the forum icons (see image nr2 above) are not meant to change when the subforums got new posts?
now you have confused me.. earlier, you tested and confirmed that if you removed the allNested option, the subforum icons worked as you expected...
however, they did not work as you expected when allNested was set to 0... and yes, as currently implemented, if you set allNested to 0, subforum information does not bubble up from lower level subforums to the top level parent...

Yes i did, but i was wrong.
I tested the smal (arrow) icons in the forum group view and the icons inside each subforum. Nothing changed, it's just me that completely missed to test the icon function in the image above.
I am very sorry about that Steve.
