Suddenly all our forums are not viewable. Every time you try and click on a thread, or profile, you’re just reloaded to the home page. Started doing this since yesterday.
Well I have to state my usual mantra. If things work and stop working then something has changed. The code is still the same code…
So what else has changed or been altered? Something else on your website. An update or new WP theme or plugin perhaps? or changing some options on an existing plugin?
Yeah but its easier to say randomly cause idk what I’m doing.
We just had a guy install Onecloud to the server, not sure why that decided to mess with things… I was just hoping there was potentially a simple fix for this. Is this not a common issue? Or like… an issue with an obvious solution?
Well the question is if that is the cause what is it messing with? Never come across ot before so new to me.
You can try updating the forum permalinks (Integration > Page and Permalink admin page) button in the middle of the form. That might work. But if it does it leaves the question why was the WP permalink record (rewrite rules) disturbed.
Yeah I think we fixed it, appears to be some kindof combination of a database issue, and having to rebuild the profile tabs with the housekeeping menu. Not really sure what fixed it exactly, but if I get more info I’ll post it here
