Sorry for posting so soon after rejoining. I've spent the whole day trying to fix this!
I use the Tags plugin (updated to version 1.1.1). With the upgrade to SP Version: 5.1.1 Build: 8675, the tag links in topic view don't work properly.
Clicking on a tag (for example 'globalization') in the topic view will produce this search result:
writefix.com/?page_id=2722&forum=all&value=globalization&type=1&include=4&search=1
which will return the wrong value - either 0 or the same number of links as a previous search - i.e, all wrong ones.
I've found that only this set of parameters works:
writefix.com/?page_id=2722&forum=all&value=globalization&type=1&include=4&search=1&new=1
How do I add the &new=1 parameter to all the tag links? Do I look in some of the search forms or in the Tags plugin? I've uninstalled and reinstalled the tags plugin, dropped and re-uploaded tables in to the database, and am able to add, delete and manage tags, so I don't think the problem is with the Tags plugin. What search form or view or function needs updating or has changed?
I'm using the CSS-only theme, and and in desperation, updated that as well, but still no luck. I can't find anything in the Theme codex that seems to help. I also upgraded to WP 3.4 earlier today. Too many upgrades at one time!
(I found the correct search parameters (the one with &new=1) by using the search box and selecting 'Advanced Search' > 'Tags Only single tag')
You can see an example at http://writefix.com/?page_id=2.....mportant-1. Clicking on the tag 'music' should give 10 topics with that tag. Great, but if you go to any subsequent topic page and click on any tag, you will still get the same 10 results regardless what tag you click. Is &new=1 a recent feature/update?
Sorry for being longwinded here - hope the explanation is clear.
Thanks for your help.
why? just grab the updated version... pushed out this evening...
