No caching plugin.  And, what do you mean by "you have consistent use of www or not?"  Sorry to be dense.

BTW - I've confirmed that most people seem to have access to all forums, unlike me.  So, obviously something strange with my user account.  I've done all the normal troubleshooting steps (clearing browser cache, restarting, trying other browsers, etc...)  If I ultimately just have to somehow create a new user account, that's fine, I guess.  But, it would be nice to find an easier fix.

No don't create a new account. It's good that your users don't have this issue and very strange that you do.

Now I couldn't find any issue with your user data but that doesn't mean I might not have missed something. We have had a few permission related issues in this update and we are preparing an update for this weekend so could I ask you to be patient until that arrives so you can update your forums to see if that magically resolves the issue?

And if it doesn't then I will dive back into your data with a vengeance after the weekend....

Sounds good, man.  I'm fine as long as my users are doing ok!  🙂

OK - keep a watch out for the update. It is virtually all bug fixes and quite important.

It seems I have also some strange problem similar to this one. I thought that the 'smiley' has fixed it, but now any replies written by me (admin) are showing as 'blank'. Also it says that I am member since November 30, -0001 (which does not seem to be right).

Ok - so the smilies fix helped with OTHERS seeing blank text, but I was still having problems, right?  Well, I decided to investigate a little more closely.

Turns out for some reason (no clue how this happened) I was not added to the appropriate user groups, despite all the various privileges I have (moderator, administrator, member in Wishlist of all the courses).  This happened with the last upgrade - who knows how.

When I figured it out, I went and manually added myself to all of the relevant usergroups and voilà, everything is fine.

*shrug*

an SP admin does not belong to any user groups...  but guess worth mentioning that a WP admin is not necessarily an SP admin...

I have done as suggested, but still my posts as admin appear blank to others. If I want to post anything, I have to log as some other user. I would really appreciate some solution to this problem.

Have you actually checked the permission settings your members user group(s) are using. Is the permission to 'Can view posts by an administrator' actually turned on?
