When I try to install the plugin, this is the error that I get.

The plugin does not have a valid header.

Please advise. Thanks, Sandra

are you talking about the core simple press plugin? or some of our add on plugins?

if the former, please indicate how you uploaded the plugin to your server...

The one that is called simple-press.

I am trying to set this up for a client on a site that I lease to him. My goal is to use the forum as a way for him to communicate privately with his consulting clients and share drawings, etc.....

Your service was recommended by wishlist membership.

Thanks, Sandra

I loaded the plugin through the "add new" section of the website through the plugins area.

okay...  can you try re downloading it again just to make sure it wasnt corrupted the first time...

but first, delete the current one from your server... either through ftp or the wp plugins list admin panel...

worst case, if that fails, remove the plugin again...  and try extracting from the zip on your computer and upload the resultant simple-press directory (and all sub dirs and files) into wp plugins folder and see if that gets it going...

please let us know...

I just downloaded the zip from the server and installed on fresh set up... worked fine, so nothing with the file itself...
