Since my upgrade to 5.2 I can't really see what has happened as all my themes have stopped working, and am left with Red text on Black for everything, this happens in IE10 and Firefox. It was happening before I upgraded Wordpress to 3.5 and hoped that the 3.5 upgrade may have cured it. I have also upgraded all the themes and plugins.

mmm. Let's start, if you would, by going to the forum admin > Options > Global Settings and turning off the two options under 'CSS/JS Combined Caching'. It may be having an issue with your custom SP theme.
is there something odd about your permalinks? The browser address bar never shows the actual url you are on?

Not sure why the url doesn't display it does on the main content site, I force it to post name as it looks better when I send the links to PR companies

The address bar is most odd- don't think I have seen that before and have WP still working as it should! You must have something installed there that is doing it...

You're welcome. I looked into returning to Essex a couple of years back - I came from Loughton - but was staggered to see the house prices! A little too hot for me!

Yes - we seem to have a problem. Although not widespread... 3 out of several hundred upgrades to date. But still a problem. We are investigating thanks.
