Support Forum
I recently added comprehensive tabs above my forum which will allow me to move from tab to tab without leaving the page. This will give me the ability to add content I feel the forum users should see. I set it up so it will take less steps to get to the good content I want people to see. For instants: Videos, Featured posts, Recent Posts, Events etc. can all be viewed above the forum in a few seconds just from clicking from tab to tab.
I am using Striking Theme for Wordpress and Striking gives me the option to add shortcodes to my theme on any page. I can add Toggles, Tabs and According Menus to the actual pages. This gives me the ability to have feature rich content in a very small space on the website so people don't have to search for the good stuff.
I have experienced 1 issue using the tabs above the forum. From the admin bar I click to view unread posts, then I click on the 'Mark Post As Read And Go To Topic', it will take me to the topic. When I try to leave a reply going through the admin bar it will not let me add a reply. The button is (Void) I also noticed that the tabs above the forum are blank with no content as if there was no permalink structor going through the admin bar.
Other then that the tabs above the forum seem to function properly and everything works fine and all users are able to reply. (This is strictly an admin issue) When I just use the forum to reply to a post, I can click through the tabs and it will add a permalink to the end of the URL for each tab. But when using the admin bar to view the post it will appear blank because it does not add a permalink structor.
I could be wrong about the permalink thing but something is keeping me from replying from that view, but I just wanted to share my experience on the matter.
Please Advice.
Oh yeah, I almost forgot.
Here is access to my forum so you can see the tabs in action!
all browsers have dev tools which allow you to look at information in the console to see errors or other responses... in FF, firebug is the best one..
ignore the void: http://codex.simple-press.com/.....wser-link/
your wp theme is violating wp standards and incorreclty loading jquery... its loading its own version rather than the one that comes with WP... plugins can only test and expect the wp version...
<script type='text/javascript' src='http://marketingden.net/wp-content/themes/striking/js/jquery-1.8.3.min.js?ver=1.8.3'></script>
If you can find that in your theme, we can help correct it...

since guests cannot post, I cannot verify that is the problem...
