Hi, the Tiny MCE plugin is preventing anything from being posted, as you can see in the image:
Can you let me know how to fix this please?
Thanks
Michael
As far as I can tell the error is this:
tinymce.min.js?ver=4800-20180716:2 Mixed Content: The page at '.../forum/horse-racing/#spEditFormAnchor#spEditFormAnchor#spEditFormAnchor#spEditFormAnchor#spEditFormAnchor' was loaded over HTTPS, but requested an insecure stylesheet '.../wp-content/sp-resources/forum-plugins/tinymce-richtext/resources/skins/SPlightgray/sp-content.css?wp-mce-4800-20180716'. This request has been blocked; the content must be served over HTTPS.
Our whole site is HTTPS and it only seems to be when I activate this plugin that this error occurs. I can't quite see why the request is going out as HTTP and not HTTPS?
Thanks
Michael
is this a recent change to https? did you update the forum permalink on forum - integration - page and permalink?
and no caching, right?
and blocking a css stylesheet wouldnt cause the tinymce stuff not to load, just without css...
do you have a link to site?

Not a recent change to HTTPS, it was this before installing Simple Press, although the site did have Simple Press many years ago before HTTP, it was removed and only recently put back as a new forum. Not sure if that could cause it?
We use CloudFlare, so there is some caching, I've added an exception now for forum pages.
The link is: https://www.raceadvisor.co.uk/forum/
did you reset the forum permalink as requested?
Is our tinymce plugin currently active?
assume Simple Press is latest 5.7.5.3 version? and all plugins and themes are the latest version as well with no upgrades available?
not sure what is up with the mixed content, but it wont prevent tinymce from loading...
more concerned that your wp theme is loading its own copy of jquery ui instead of the version that comes with WP... that could be causing problems... obviously, plugins cannot test with custom js that WP provides, and really have to expect the WP version is loaded rather than a theme breaking WP standards...
might be worth a quick test change to a default wp theme and see if the problem resolves itself...
on forum - toolbox -housekeeping might be worth a cache clear as well.. though not likely to help...
as guests, we dont have posting capability, so we cannot try a post to see what might be happening...

Hi:
Do you happen to have a staging / test site? If not, can you check with your host to see if they can make a clone for you (most reputable hosts can do that quite easily). The reason is we're likely to immediate disable everything not related to simple-press to eliminate conflicts so best that we don't do that on your live site.
If you do have access to a staging site just send either myself or Mr. Papa the credentials via PM - wp-admin and FTP would be what we need (don't forget to include URLS and port numbers).
Thanks.
