Have you moved any of the CSS for the Simple:Press tinyMCE plugin?
Steve: Can you see any of the CSS being loaded for tinyMCE? I may just be missing it...

FYI, I'm still having the same persistent problems with TinyMCE not working. The editor sometimes flashes for a SPLIT SECOND, but often I don't ever see it at ALL -- there's NO editor. Period.
I've done nothing with CSS, so I'm not sure how to answer the question above.
I did send login info back when I started this thread, but will DM you again. We are tearing our hair out with this one.
Disabling ALL plugins has NO EFFECT on this, fyi.
Thanks for your help. I'm ready to throw in the towel. My partner is more persistent, but he's not the one who handles all the tech issues, I am. 8-P

no css because there is no css chosen for tinymce... also trying to set it in the options doesnt seem to work... not sure why...
also on the front end, their may be a conflict with other plugins... they may be incorrectly adding buttons to the wp editor... the wp editor api fully supports using it on the front end.. however some themes and plugins make the assumption its only in the admin and incorrectly load their stuff... I see something called proplayer and wilist stuff adding buttons and stuff to tinymce... they may be doing it wrong keeping it from loading... cannot really tell... perhaps deactivate them and see if it makes difference...
as to tinymce option not saving, confused...
