I'm trying to remove the Font Size and Header options from the TinyMCE text editor, but when I delete them from the "Toolbar 2" section and update it, nothing happens. The code for the two items aren't there anymore, but they're still showing up on the forums.
Ideally, I'd like to the get the toolbar to look exactly like the one on these forums. (Minus the change font color setting).
Any help would be appreciated!
I can't create a reply in your forum so I have nothing to look at.
But - the toolbar you see here on this site is the default set of buttons we supply SP with. And I am unsure what 'header' options are in the toolbar?
We do not include the font size control so if you have not added that to the toolbar then I would suspect you are using some sort of tinyMCE WP plugin add-on. Would that be the case?
Many authors who supply addons for tinyMCE assume that it is only getting used in the WP Admin to write posts and pages. They therefore add their stuff at all times instead of ensuring that it IS only added within the admin.

By header options, I meant the options to choose paragraph, header, header 2, etc.
I'm using the Simple-Press TinyMCE WYSIWYG Editor plugin. However, when I disable it and go to the default, there are no buttons. It's just the text area.
I guess I could stick with the way it is, but a lot of the members on my forum are going to be younger and I'd like to prevent them from being able to post in 46-point pink font
of course if you disable tinymce you will just get a textarea... there are also 2 other editor plugins you can use, but tinymce is the fullest featured...
so was tinymce working, just with more buttons than you wanted?
Andy's question was are you using any other wp plugins for tinymce?
