SEO issue. I dont want to display the forum name in the page title so I untick this(
Include forum name in page/browser title).
But all my subforum page titles are blank. All my forum pages are displaying the same page title which is "forumname.com". This is not good for seo, which is duplicate page title.
Example:
Forumname.com
- subforum1(page title is | forumname.com)
- subforum2(page title is | forumname.com)
How can I set the subforum page title to the subforum name?
eg:
Page title: "Subforum1 | Forumname.com"
Page title: "Subforum2 | Forumname.com"

You can't really have it both ways. All a sub-forum is - at the end of the day - is another forum. It is only an organisational method after all. If you have turned off the forum name then it is off.

You should have a feature to let us trim the post title. Big G is so sensitive nowadays.

Trim it? Not sure exactly what you mean by 'trim' but you can edit it whenever you like using the forum tools...

Andy, the user means the length of the topic title... if you want to limit the actual title and slug length, you will need to edit as Andy says... if just for display purposes, you can use the truncate arugment (truncate=1) to the various template functions that display the title...
