sorry if that's a jumbled mess -- i tried to upload just the titles.php file (even sneakily renaming it titles.jpg) but was now allowed.

i don't remember the exact fix (the discussion was back in october 2011) but i BELIEVE that somewhere in the "mouthful" file, there was a line of added code that essentially said "rewrite titles unless /forum/". ...but in proper PHP-speak 🙂
