Hi,

tooltips are used all over the forum at specific items. Is there a way to influence their contents and appearance or even an API ?

Would be a great feature.

All tooltips are passed as a parameter in the template functions. In other words they are all in the templates of the SP theme you are using - as are button labels etc., - and therefore easily changed and customised.

As always we recommend that you create your own SP theme so that any customisation is not lost during a future update. (http://codex.simple-press.com/.....g-a-theme/)

We have, and still are, considering introducing tools to allow easy customisation of such labels. The main problem is not the doing of it but the concern over the effect it may have on general performance.
