Badges are at 0755 which should be sufficient. What other file locations do you need checked?
I will have my host correct any ownership issues. I don't have SSH access to this box. I am just using this box for development before I move to the dedicated server. On the phone with them now.

My host verified that everything is configured properly on their end and that I do own all of the directories within my hosting account. The rank issue aside, my biggest concern is the inability to edit posts and the fact that attachments are double posting. If anyone can help me resolve that one I can deal with the image issue later. In fact, the post editing is the biggest concern. I can always disable attachments. I am not wild about allowing them anyhow.
Edit: The Rich Text Editor using WP TinyMCE is causing the post editing error. When I disable it, I can edit posts. Here's what happens when I upload an attachment::
That's the code that is showing up when the attachment is added to the post...Of course, now I can edit them but still....

The quicktags BB Code and the HTML Editor both work. While I am not wild about either of them for my members, I can live with them for now. The attachment issue I am looking into now.
THe issue is with plupload. If I simply have it attach images as a link it works fine...If I have it insert them into the post It does so twice. Any idea what might be happening?

Update: By having plupload simply provide a link to the attachment instead of inserting it into the post and by switching to the BB Code editor and deleting the rich text editor the issues have been resolved (rather avoided). Now I only have the rank image left to worry with.
For some reason the native code isn't displaying the rank images. I am thinking I might have to use PHP if ...else conditionals to do the job and just get it fixed. Your thoughts?

While you have things at least under control I would suggest we take these issues one at a time and let's see if we can resolve them. Both the double images and the non-saving of an edited post is common or, at the moment, experienced by anyone else so that usually suggests a local/environmental issue of some kind.
So perhaps let's start with what other WordPress plugins you have active. Can you tell us what they are?

Here is a list of installed plugins, however, deactivating all plugins did not resolve the issue with the rank images. Right now the rank images are my first priority and the rich text editor would be secondary.

okay, now you have confused me... back on the first page you said you were trying to show usergroup badges... now here, you say you are trying to show rank badges... that is two completely different items...
which are you trying to actually show? the code I have been giving you is for usergroup badges...
if you are really trying to do rank badges, which kind of ranks? forum ranks or special ranks?
