The forum (theme) appears to have changed a lot and there seems to be no Topic with unread posts flag any longer? Am I missing something here?

So am guilty of hijacking my own topic
Just tested again and it said “captcha not completed” but it allowed me to press “post new reply” and then “ate” my post. This doesn’t seem very friendly, especially for unfamilliar users – I am a (guesstimate) 25k+ poster in forums so consider myself a little more able than most of “our” users.
I’ll test this again now (having copied my post first) – surely I shouldn’t be able to “post new reply” without the drag action?
Tested : said (gist) “saving post” then after a while said “cannot save post ‘cos captcha not completed” ….. so basically it did “eat” my post. Definitely not friendly.

This IS Version 5 of SP right?
The ‘about’ is in the strip at the bottom. And themes have a whole section in the forum admin.
I believe that you may be talking at crossed purposes here. Paul I think that Andy is trying to deduce which theme you are using on your version of SP5 which is a modified version of the default. That is on the ABF_Test forum of course.
Andy I think that Paul is wondering where the unread topics bubble (it used to be filled red) has gone in V5 and he is citing this forum as an example.

Hi Conrad. Yes it had become clear there was some confusion.
OK so – when you say ‘Unread Topics’ do you mean the users list which you can see on this form to the right of the breadcrumbs above? Or do you mean the admins list that sits along the top? If the latter then this is now a plugin and requires activating and then turning on in your admin options.
Ah. OK. Well on this forum theme we have opted for the new posts icon under the topic/posts count (Group view) and posts/views count (ForumView).
But if one wanted to change the forum icon like that then it would be a fairly straightforward matter to code that into the view template.
