I want to say first thank you for all the help and guidance.  Now this is what I did.

  1. Installed the same version of simplepress
  2. Activate and install forum
  3. removed sf tables from new location (are we suppose to do this)

At this point all the users were in the new location, but none of the groups.  Then the tables were added. When logged into the new location I can see the different groups and forums, and all the users.  However when I go to weppgroup.com/forum It's just a blank published page. 

Thoughts anyone?

cant really see... seems to be blocked by membership plugin...  screenshot?  are you sure the wp page 'forum' is published?

Actually you may need to create a new page for the forum. Or - if one was created go to the forum admin - WP Integration - and check it is being used and update the forum permalink.
