Hi,

Is there an option to turn on the post moderation bar for other admins beside myself.

My seems enabled (installed the plugin) but my other admin can't seem to see it?

This is a personal choice made by each admin. They need to to Admins > Your Admin Options and turn on the use of the bar individually.

Thanks Again.

Any idea if they plan to do an admin override in future?

It's frustrating to have to email each admin or moderator separately to explain to them how to turn on things like this and post notifications which I would have thought are pretty standard features.

I do not believe either way is the correct way. And I rather think it is a matter of not pleasing all of the people all of the time. From my own personal perspective, I know I would prefer to have to opt in to something rather than go and opt out.

Sure if you're a user, but surely if you own the forum you should be in control over what the people who moderate for you can see as a default.

Even if the default is off, it would be good practice to allow an admin to turn it to 'on' on request.

Just my two cents!

we have had an existing ticket to let admins edit other admins settings... but of course, we dont know one admin from another (short of perhaps the manage admins caps) so could be some tom foolery there wink

but no estimated eta...  but noted...

Makes sense.

But I guess if you've got the kind of people who have a fondness for 'tom foolery' then they probably shouldn't be admins! laugh

Apologies for the double question, but I seem to have hit a stumbling block.

I have a user who is a forum moderator, but Wordpress subscriber as I don't want them to have access to the Wishlist Dashboard or anything else in Wordpress.

How would I get them to turn their moderator bar on themselves as I'm assuming they can't see the Simplepress admin panel as I can in Wordpress?
