David, unfortunately, the account you created for us is a wp admin, but is NOT an sp admin..  can you go to forum - admins - manage admins and add in all the capabilities for this account so we can actually see the sp stuff?  thanks...

also you are getting tinymce errors at init because its trying to load and run the wishlist tags plugin (known to conflict with simple press because of tinymce errors in their code)...  you have that plugin disabled, but something else is still trying to load it in tinymce...

"NetworkError: 404 Not Found - http://www.techtamerclients.co.....gin.min.js"
plugin.min.js
Failed to load: http://www.techtamerclients.co.....gin.min.js

trying to see what might be doing that on your end...

Hi Mr. Papa,

Thank you for doing your best to take a look around even in your hobbled state of not having S:P admin access. My apologies! I forgot that S:P has it's own separate admins. You are now an S:P admin with full privileges.

Would you mind sharing where you are getting the init errors? I am not seeing them.

I have completely disabled all WP plugins except S:P, and the issue still persists, so the init errors are likely coming from something other than one of the plugins. Before I run down unfruitful rabbit holes, I'd like to be able to recreate the init errors you discovered which might give me a clue as to where to start looking.

Thank you,

Kasey

Hi Mr. Papa,

I have another update for you that I hope will be helpful, if even in a small way.

I asked my hosting provider's tech support to confirm for me if they could re-create the init error and also if they could see anything on the back end that I was missing.

They were unable to re-create the error, unfortunately. They also see the same thing that I do which is that there are no errors in the Apache log at all (which for this error, it shouldn't show up in the Apache error log anyway...so at least there's confirmation that that portion is not completely haywire) and that there have been no errors recorded in the Wordpress error log since 4/28.

I'll await your reply. The tech support fellow said that if you can let us know where you saw the error, he will try to re-create it again and help us move this ball forward.

Thank you,

Kasey

It shows up in the error console of the browser... It's a tinymce error so not surprised it's not in error log...

Plan to revisit this tonight when home after work...

The error was because someone had listed the wltags plugin in our tinymce options to load as a plugin... since that wp plugin was not activated, the attempt to load the plugin failed causing tinymce error...

removed the wltags from the sp plugins list and its all working now...

Just for your information, there is a new update for the WP-Polls plugin which seems to work with the TinyMCE editor :)

Thanks... Dont remember it not working - must have been another wp 3.9 issue...

Btw fiddler man, think you are line person still with tinymce issue.. One other one was resolved to issue with our syntax highlighting plugin if you had a specific invalid configuration we choked on it... Gracefully handles it now... Might be worth check for you too...

I'm not sure which issue resolved the problem. Everytime there has been any update whatsoever, I have tested the TinyMCE and for the first time, after this mornings WP-Polls update, TinyMCE works. :)

My guess is that it was the WP-Polls but I could EASILY be wrong. And yes I have the Syntax Highlighting Plugin Version 2.0.1 working smoothly with TineyMCE now as well.

ALL is well and I'm super happy!!!

Thanks for your great work, dedication and support as always.

There were other reports of wp-polls issues from non-SP users.
