I would like to change an existing Group name that has several Forums underneath it. However, after I modify the name in the dashboard, then click on Update Group, it sais my changes were saved, but it reverts back to the old name. Is it not possible to modify any existing group names on my board?

yes, of course it is… did you completely fill in the form?? including the default usergroup permissions at the bottom?
Filling out the permission sets seemed to make the change stick this time. I assumed that they would have been set to default which is why I didn’t bother assigning permission sets to specific groups. Thanks.
No, they are for you to set as defaults… so when you create a new forum, they will get those permissions automatically… in next version, we may remove the requirement to be set since it trips up more than just you… and not really required…
