can your provide more info as to what you are doing?  these things are done from different locations, so not sure what you are doing...

groups and forums are deleted from with the admin at forum - forums - manage groups and forums...

deleting topics is normally done from the front end forum using the forum tools (see:  http://codex.simple-press.com/.....her-tools/)

That sounds as if something is stopping the AJAX calls from working. Do you know how to use the script console in the browser? If so can you open it and then try one of these operations again to see if any errors get reported?

yes, those are the ajax requests... you hsould be able to expend them and see more information as to what is reported...

this:

[HTTP/1.1 999 AW Special Error 125ms]

is interesting...  seems to be a rather unique IIS error message... is this an IIS server?  you can google it for more info, but might be time to contact your host to see if they can help with that

the headers seem to indicate it plus googling that error indicates its odd IIS error...  your host would confirm...
