Permission to edit forum stopped working. De-activated plugin and immediately attempted to re-activate, but got this error msg...

Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.

I tried to paste the error here but got the message: "Unable to save. This post contains an iframe which are disallowed."

Please advise next steps.

Thanks much,

This is a conflict between Simple:Press and the Events Calendar plugin which goes back a long way and is due to a function being named the same in both plugins. If you contact the Events Calendar plugin authors they have a fix they can give you - I am afraid I don't  know what the fix is but I am told it is simple and quick!

In fact if you are willing to pass me the details I can always write up an FAQ on it... although it doesn't come up particularly frequently!

My issues seems to be browser related. posting, editing, and reply works ok in Chrome.

In Firefox when i click any of each i get a blank new tab open

when i do the same in Explorer  a new tab open with error msg.

Does that URL mean anything to you? It has no relevance to the forum page. Seems something to do, perhaps, with iframe support of some kind
