Permission to edit forum stopped working. De-activated plugin and immediately attempted to re-activate, but got this error msg...
Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.
I tried to paste the error here but got the message: "Unable to save. This post contains an iframe which are disallowed."
Please advise next steps.
Thanks much,
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare sp_get_option() (previously declared in /home/ccbsainf/public_html/wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/src/functions/template-tags/deprecated.php:500) in /home/ccbsainf/public_html/wp-content/plugins/simple-press/sp-api/sp-api-primitives.php on line 95
I got the same is with been unable to edit a post.
When i click on edit a blank new tab is open in my browser, that also happen with reply and new topic
This is a conflict between Simple:Press and the Events Calendar plugin which goes back a long way and is due to a function being named the same in both plugins. If you contact the Events Calendar plugin authors they have a fix they can give you - I am afraid I don't know what the fix is but I am told it is simple and quick!
In fact if you are willing to pass me the details I can always write up an FAQ on it... although it doesn't come up particularly frequently!
