Support Forum
Hello,
One of the admins of our site recently updated the forums. We first encountered the "can't see text" problem, but that was resolved thanks to Mr Papa's comment in one of the other threads here.
Now, we've realized another problem. Before, I know there was an option to edit topics (such as editing the title, locking it, pinning, etc.), but there doesn't seem to be any option menu anymore.
If it makes any difference, here's our forums: http://inzombiac.com/forum/
Thanks!
It looks to me that a Delicious or Pinterest type WP plugin is adding in the Google CDN JQuery causing errors on the page. Probably should look at that first.
You can see more info on JQuery conflicts here http://codex.simple-press.com/.....-conflict/ and maybe try deactivating that/those plugins and see if that takes care of it.
So after you deactivated whatever plugin is trashing the WP api and loading an invalid version of jQuery plus throwing errors in the scripts that load up some of the social networking connection stuff thing still did not work?
Would you be able to deactivate that again and let me know so I can take another look at your site with that out of the way?

Sorry for the late reply.
To sort of explain things more, I'm more so an admin of the forums and two other guys are the admins of the entire site. I only have access to the more general things like plugins and such, whereas the other guys have access to the entire thing. The other guy and I tested out the wp plugins (he turned them off/on and I said if it worked or not) through google talk and we finally got things working.
The Wp Grande plug-in is what was giving us problems. As soon as he deactivated that, I was able to edit topic titles, pin/unpin the topics, etc.
As for the second problem dealing with the user only being able to see his avatar (I learned later that he was not only able to see his avatar, but also his profile), it seems that after he signed up, he was directed to the normal page where you can edit your name, password, etc. etc. Though, when he changed his password and hit update (or whatever is at the bottom), it directed him to his profile on the forums. He had to then change his password again (if he didn't do so before), though this time it worked and was able to lurk around our forums. Is this part of the new update of the forums or is there something wrong?
I have never heard of your 'WP Grande' plugin before. I assume it would be fairly easy to fix up so that it behaves.
I am not really understanding what you are saying about the users avatar and profile. Can you give me more detail of what happened and what was wrong?
