Support Forum
Hello,
We recently migrated our website to a new server instance, but the domain name, paths, etc have all remained the same.
What we are seeing, however, is we can no longer view or edit user profiles. We log in as administrators, go to the Forum/Users section of the control panel, select a user and click the profile link. That gives us a popup, where we then click on the Edit User Profile link on the popup. Instead of this taking us to the user's profile page where we can adjust their membership settings, we instead are taken to the main forum page. It doesn't matter what user we try to edit, the results are the same.
Similarly, if we click on the Profile link on the forum page, it just refreshes the page, it doesn't load our profile page. The members link similarly suffers from this problem.
What is going on? The URL that we are going to appears to be the correct URL, it just isn't displaying the right page (edit goes to a /profile/<userid>/edit url, profile to the /profile url, members to the /members url).
Thanks for any help in advance!
paths remained the same? that would be odd... for profiles, the server paths are stored in the db, so try going to forum - toolbox - housekeeping and resetting the profile tabs...
thought not sure what you are saying about the members url since there is just one (plus pages)..
I assume there is no caching on this new server?

When I say paths remained the same I mean our webhost username didn't change, so all the paths to all files would be identical (so its not a 404 fallback or anything).
Also what I mean about the urls is they look valid, they don't look like we got redirected to the base forum page. So they are of the form:
mywebsite.com/myforums/profile/<someuserid>/edit
mywebsite.com/myforums/profile/
mywebsite.com/myforums/members/
But they all show the main forum index, not the respective page I would expect to edit or view a profile, or see a members list.
Reseting the profile tabs had no effect on this issue.
Thanks!
do you have a link to site?? and you didnt answer the caching question...

This is our forums. We do not have caching of pages on the site (only images go to the cdn).
??? that is a 404... as is the forum link in the nav bar at top...
is it behind paywall (despite link available?)???

This is the link listed in the "integration" section of the settings:
https://kyusho.com/?page_id=11649
I notice if I'm not logged into the site it 404s, but if I'm logged in I see it. The wordpress page its associated with is "kyushoforums" but I don't see it in the page list...
That was my next post but you beat me to it... your site seems to be using pretty permalinks but the forum is not... seems like a config issue...
try going to forum - integration - page and permalink and updating the forum permalink... and make sure the page you want is selected...
if that doesn work, look at the wp page for the forum in backend and make sure you have a permalink set...
