I see other SimplePress sites where the forums are in a nice tabular layout. For some reason, when I look at the page created by SimplePress, I don't see anything to modify. I'd like to change the background color, and a number of other things. How do I get started?

I know how to do this with WordPress, just not with the pages created by this plugin.

My site is at tickertok.com, in case anyone wants to take a look at where I'm at.

Please post an image of the other forums you're looking at so we can know what you're shooting for.

The display of a forum is governed by Simple:Press themes.  You can install themes under the FORUM->THEMES menu.

Some themes allow you to change the colors using a customizer screen (which will also appear under the FORUM->THEMES menu).  Others come with Overlays with fixed colors which you can choose after you activate the theme.

You should be able to select a theme from under the FORUM->THEMES menu option.

Thanks.

Thanks, I've got it. I didn't understand the concept of SP themes, as opposed to WP themes. Changed themes, and got exactly what I was looking for.
