I finally got my Simple:Press Groups and Forums set up and am trying to create some topics, but although I can create a new topic and type in a topic name, S:P is not letting me type in the body field!
I'm logged in as admin. When I click in the body field, nothing happens -- my cursor does not appear, nada.
I also tried clicking back in the topic name field, and then tabbing to get into the body, but that takes me down BELOW the body, down to the bottom of the forum, and no active cursor shows up anywhere.
Help! I wanted to open my site up tonight or tomorrow, but if nobody can create posts it will be a bit of a problem... 🙁

Just deactivated all non-mission-critical plugins. Looks like a plugin issue. Now going through and re-activating one by one.

Damn. Looks like Mingle plugin is the culprit.
Anyone know how to resolve this????

Actually your site is not loading at all for me at this moment.
The mnoast common reason for this behaviour is explained in this article: http://codex.simple-press.com/.....-conflict/
if this is the problem then once you track down where the rogue script is being loaded then it is usually pretty easy to fix.

It's loading for me (though a bit on the slow side :()
I tried to decipher the document you linked to in the codex, and I did a "view source" on my site. The only .js code I found are these strings:

Would that be the problem?? Do I need to remove my Statcounter and analytics tracking code?

so what is the problem now? I did get the page to load although quite slowly... but I see no issues with the forum... I even left you a test post at: http://creativeignitionclub.co.....n/sp-test/

The reason there you found no issues with the forum is because I de-activated Mingle plugin.
The problem is that I want to USE Mingle plugin, but it seems to be incompatible with Simple:Press (at least if I want people to be able to POST in S:P! ;))

we have a fair number of users that use Mingle and Simple Press... so at this time, not aware of any issues between them... assume your Mingle version is up to date? and that you dont mean Mingle forums...
but hard to look with it deactivated (understand the issue for you too)... getting late for me to look tonight... Andy is in UK and will be back in few hours... but up to you if you want to re-enable it for us to take a look...

I just reactivatived Mingle. I downloaded it just a day or two ago, so I believe it's up to date, though I'm not entirely sure! It's version 0.1.0.
And yes, I mean Mingle plugin, not Mingle forums (because of course I'm using the awesome Simple:Press plugin for my forums! :))
