I have a forum set up with wishlist member. I mapped the permissions of the user groups to the various wishlist member levels. I have the forum and group both set up so that guests have "no access". When logged in with as a user with permission level mapped to guest, the forum appears and I am able to create a new topic.

I even tried creating a new user group, incase there was something special about guests getting access, made sure my group was set so that that user group does not get access, and I am still getting in.

What am I missing here?

I have been unable to find any documentation on mapping users, so I may be missing some crucial step. I see this warning ...

"Warning: Use caution when mapping users. This will adjust your user's memberships in User Groups. Choose the criteria and options carefully. The mapping cannot be undone except by remapping or manual process. Also, make sure you have saved your mapping settings above before mapping as they are two distinct actions."

... so I have not changed these settings:..

Add user membership based on WP role to existing memberships

Replace all user memberships with a single membership based on WP role

Which of these options should I be selecting?
