Hi there,
I currently have a pull-down list for Unread and recently updated topics and then at the bottom of my list of forums I have another list (but not pull-down) of the unread and recently updated topics. I do not get this view as a moderator but do as a standard user.
I do not want to see the list underneath the list of forums (refer http://www.ilivein.co.uk). Perhaps there is a configuration option to do this?

we dont put one there... in fact, we have an open ticket to allow such a thing but there is currently an id issue that causes a conflict if one is put there...
I would hazard a guess its a js or css conflict on your site making it appear twice.. but cannot really tell since it doesnt appear for guests...

ok.
I got rid of it by commenting out
sp_RecentPostList('show=10', __sp('Unread and recently updated topics'));
in spGroupView.php
Hopefully I haven't broken anything else but appears ok.

That's the way to do it. You can make any changes you like in the templates just like with a WP theme
As always we recommend that you create your own SP theme so that any customisation is not lost during a future update. (http://codex.simple-press.com/.....g-a-theme/)
