The only way that one would normally have a double display like that is when the ID of the html element is not unique on the page. Which is not case with the forum display - I can not replicate that here for example and neither do we have any other such reports. The ID in question is named 'blogpostedit' so is it at all unbelievably possible that have another control on the page with the same ID? Does your WP theme, for example, have an edit link that may - by some weird coincidence - be named the same?

please confirm as andy requests, but to add bit more... if there is a duplicate ID, not much we can do about it... short of disabling the pretty checkboxes... which you can do in your sp theme, by changing
define('SP_USE_PRETTY_CBOX', true);
to false...
of course, make sure you dont edit our theme to keep from losing changes... make a child theme or create your own theme (sp)...
