For a error in my Hosting the upgrade to 5.3 was broken. I try to install a previous version but now appears that message
Downgrade Warning
It appears you are attempting to downgrade your Simple:Press Version. The Build or Version number in the sp-control.php file is lower than the currently installed version in the database. You must restore your database to this earlier version before you can continue. You cannot simply downgrade Simple:Press files as the database has been upgraded beyond the version you are attempting to downgrade to and may cause irreparable damage to the database.
I find the 5.3 version to update manually but i cannot find it... Can you help me please?

Can you explain in detail what the problem was with the upgrade to 5.3.0?is not problem of thw plugin The problem is my hosting. When the upgrade of 5.3
it was paralyzed because in that moment my hosting decided to make a reset of the server without warning.
It seemed that the update had been made but it had stayed fifty-fifty. And they had things that didn't work.
So I thought that putting the version that there is in the web to download. It would be upgraded again. but it has not happened this way. and appears the msg in quote

Nasty of them...Your safest course is to restore from the backup database I hope you made to put things back the way they were and then run the upgrade again.
i understand. I cannot put the version 5.3?
is not a good news. because the backup is of 7 days ago
Oh dear. This is exactly why we and the WordPress team advise a backup prior to ANY updates.
So - it really depends on how far it got through the update before your host pulled the plug. We are talking abiut updates and changes to your database here. If you know your way around a database then you can look at the update script (/sp-startup/install/sp-upgrade.php) - find the section that starts the 5.3 upgrade and trace each change down to see if it was applied. Really need to find the breakpoint.

i can restore the post using the database and use the data of the new in the old using only sfpost and sftopic.
not sure what you are saying in the last...
you cannot downgrade because some of the updates had already been applied to the db, so going back would cause problems...
to go back to 5.2.6, you will need the old db...
to continue with 5.3, there is couple options since you didnt make a db backup...
restore old db, and run the upgrade again (you will lose whatever data happened since the last backup)...
or as Andy said, manually apply the upgrades... we can help you work through the issues if you go this route... to do this, put 5.3 back on server and let us know what happens... can you get to the admin and does it function? we can reset the build number (via forum - integration - toolbox) and try to let the upgrade run again...

I downgrade the simplepress and use the Database of 7 days ago i made the upgrade fina And then I restore only the sfpost and the sftopic to restore the post.
and it worked for you? There will be other issues potentially since there is more than that needed...
If it appears to be working, I would go to forum - toolbox - housekeeping, and run all those cleanup functions... there is 7 or 8 things to clean up there to get some data back in line...
